At Caversham Wildlife Park (CWP), our priority is to provide experiences that are meaningful, educational, and respectful, while ensuring the welfare of our animals is always at the forefront. To balance increasing public demand with our strong commitment to animal care, the wombat photo component of 'Meet the Wombat & Friends' has become a paid 'optional extra'.

This change allows us to further invest into the care and enrichment of the wombats, ensuring that their physical, mental and emotional well-being is prioritised.

The funds generated from this experience are reinvested into the care of the park's animal collection, in addition to the donation to the AWC discussed above.

Visitors continue to enjoy opportunities to learn about and interact with other displayed species at no additional cost, ensuring that CWP remains an accessible place for education and connection with wildlife.

We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us uphold our commitment to both animal welfare and meaningful visitor experiences.
