We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as the Supervisor of our Food Outlet.

This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our Eatery, which offers a variety of hot and cold light meals and refreshments to our visitors.

We are specifically looking for someone who has experience in a similar leadership position, supervising a small team within a small to medium eatery/drive-thru/canteen/kiosk, who is a strong leader with a passion for upholding the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is strongly desired.

Prior experience in Tourism is desirable. 

This role demands a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to: 

• maintain a solid understanding and working knowledge of food safety standards
• supervise and organize the team of staff, and be responsible for staff training
• oversee the opening and closing protocols of the facility
• ensure all operational procedures are completed efficiently and accurately
• oversee stock control, rotation and delivery
• commitment to workplace health and safety 
• prioritize an exceptional level of customer service
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
• discretion, tact and an understanding of confidentiality 
• cultivate an environment of cultural awareness and sensitivity 
• strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment 
• lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, reliability and a positive and willing attitude 
• work closely with management, who are on-site and available to assist every day

Hours: This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, across both weekdays and weekends, and during peak holiday periods. The facility is staffed from 7.00am to 4.30pm daily. Ideally, the supervisor will be on-site from 8.30am to 4.30pm daily, but these hours are open for negotiation.
